NAAP’s Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG)

NAAP advances gender-responsive governance through its Gender and Development (GAD) Agenda Planning and Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG) Training Workshop, held on March 18–19 at NAAP AVR Villamor. The workshop brings together key personnel to identify gender gaps, assess existing programs, and develop a strategic action plan aligned with Republic Act No. 9710 (Magna Carta of Women) and other GAD mandates. As a vital tool, the HGDG ensures that government programs, projects, and activities are gender-responsive. It strengthens participants’ capacity to apply HGDG in project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, reinforcing NAAP’s commitment to inclusive and equitable development.
